Happy Birthday Scrapblog!
Mood:  cheeky
Now Playing: Scrapbook Sirens
Topic: free scrapbook stuff
The lovely and very generous ladies of the online scrapbook communities have made a very smart suggestion - a place for people to swap info on where to find scrapbook info and items online.

Many message boards don't allow the posting of web links. Sending emails to dozens of individual people - with more arriving daily - is just not practical.

And let's face it - it's cutting into the valuable time in which we might be doing something REALLY important - like shopping for more scrapbook stuff we'll never get around to using! (come on - it CAN't just be ME, can it?!)

So here goes - it's an experiment, so maybe it'll work and maybe not.

This is an "open" blog. I will host, but any one may post to this blog. (I think you have to sign up with Tripod, but it's free - like yahoo Groups).

Tell us what fabulous scrapbook things you've found online. Web links are ENCOURAGED. That's the point!

The purpose is not to REPLACE the wonderful sites and message boards we all love, just to fill in a few blanks.

Play nice - you all know the basic rules.

In return, I DO ask for one favor. I'd like to hear your suggestions for scrapbook and other craft items you'd like to see as free downloadables. Anything from cut-out embellishments to coloring pages.

If your idea sends up sparks, I will make every attempt to make it happen and make it available free.

So there you go.

Cheers,
Poly-256
